Flickering like s candle flame
Hope dances with shadows of despair
In the cold winds of indifference
Still hope prevails
Fighting against the inevitable dark
Hope still fights to remain stong

Still Pushing

Never said it would be easy
Just told you that in the end I'd make it worth your while
Promised more smiles than frowns
More ups than downs
Know at times it hard to love
But if you trust and believe in us
We can accomplish anything
The start was good but the ride got rough
Took a few detours and got turned around
Few times came close to walking
But had those memory's wouldn't let me
My words turned me around too
We drive each other crazy
Yet gotta admit its been one helluva ride

Humble thought

Swimming through a starry river
Listening to a divine melody
Courting angelic favor
The daydreams of a poet
Battling in hellish depths
Writing symphony's of woe and regret
Matching wits with devilish rogues
The imaging's of an artistic mind
Daily whole works play out in minds eye
Adventures of greatest scales
Romances of the deepest love
Fears from darkest corners
All tools of incredible writers
These things all grow from child like wonder inside
An author/poet/artist greatest treasure
In my humblest opinion

Loves Thief

Kiss the sunset till angels sing
Watching passion bleed across the sky
Heavens gate cracked open
Her heart I stole
A piece of heaven on earth
The slickest of thieves
Never tasted a love so pure
Like the smoothest of wines
Never seen it coming
Yet it couldn't resist
To lay claim to one of the rarest treasures of the Divine

Lovers dance

Hearts race on the wind
Rushing to revive lovers flame
Through moonlit rivers and shadowy forrest
Hearts race on the wind
Chasing after elusive dreams yet young for ever more
Man in the moon watches lovers
Voyer to their secret meetings
Only single tale is moons intensifying of light upon lovers

Stubborn

Same space and same time
Yet worlds apart
Couldn't be any further if you resided on venus and me on mars
Seems all we do is scar each other
So why bother with so called love
Are we to far gone
Residing in the same place
Yet more distant than land masses
How can this love grow so cold
Saying the same thing
Guess it isn't the same in the end
But can't quit
I don't wanna take the loss

Echo

Even as the day closes
Time fades from carefree hands
Only the echo of its memory remains
Like stains against the soul

Lovers doubt

Every word uttered seems misconstrued
Or worst goes unheard
How can it be the one you love most
Understands the least about you
Seems they have the deepest doubt
Regardless of the battles fought together
The challenges conquered and trials overcome
They still seem clueless when it comes to your heart
But how can this be
When everything is clearly spread across the table
To be scrutinized by questioning eyes
Explained in the most expressive yet simplest form
Completely open to them
Thinking its nothing because finally the last barrier falls
How come then its like a knife parting flesh
Shallow wound yet so raw it cuts deep to your soul

Doubt

Suppose to be walking together
Seems like we wandered apart
Or better yet more like walking backwards
Pushing against each other
Should be pulling one another forward
Making this climb together
Yet feels like the weights uneven
At times feel like someones completely absent
Maybe its stress just digging deep
Stirring up bad memories
Fight through the fog
Hope you're waiting there patiently

Against it all

Reaching for the heavens
Even while feet trapped in the quagmire
Unbeliefs and nay says go unacknowledged
Dreams fight for space in reality
Pushing pass boundaries of limitations
Taming the impossible until it becomes the norm
Fear of looking on chance of missing opportunity
Learning how to fly even with torn broken wings
