Took forever to get here
And yet it flew by faster then lighting strikes
Fading like the morning dew
Precious like water to the desert
A fly by romance
Fragile like a snow flake
Here on out every heartbeat is in anticipation of a reunion with you

Seasonal

Short nights and long days
Winter refuses to give up chilling embrace
Spring teasingly leaves cool kisses
Warm caress soothingly argues
Promising to come back for another year
But summers on its mind
Impatiently waiting for burning kisses

Tortured bliss

Candle burns low as midnight comes
Reminiscing of sessions gone by
Sensory memory overloaded
Craving your taste and scent
Yearning to hear your whispered submissions

Needless struggle with little reward

Obliterating enslaved mentality for clearer reality
Cause really this life is what you make it
Even with a bad hand here there

No judgment

How can one judge when you can't see
The struggle your fellow man goes through
Comparing your troubles and woes to the next one
Not understanding how far they've had to come
Laughing at their misfortune or hating on their success
Not knowing if they have a family to feed
Or none at all cause of hard times
Belittling ones success after the trials they've over come
Demanding they give yet not knowing the sacrifice needed to obtain that wealth
Easy to talk when the views different
Stop wishing and dishing an get on the grind
Time wasting away while sitting around critiquing others
Yet some remain wishing upon the banks while life passes by

Working on it

When is it enough
Tough to walk away
Fall in love they say
But never did they say if it would be easy to get out of
Answer for starting it but not for getting over it
Times change yet they remain the same

Brave hold tongue while fools jest
Strong let actions talk while weak blather on

Never said it would be easy

Know at times it hard to love

The start was good but the ride got rough

Kiss the sunset till angels sing
Watching passion bleed across the sky
Heavens gate cracked open

The slickest of thieves
Never tasted a love so pure
Like the smoothest of wines
Never seen it coming
Yet it couldn't resist
To lay claim to one of the rarest treasures of the Divine

Hearts race on the wind
Rushing to revive lovers flame
Through moonlit rivers and shadowy forrest

Stubborn

Same space and same time
Yet worlds apart
Couldn't be any further if you resided on venus and me on mars
Seems all we do is scar each other
So why bother with so called love
Are we to far gone
Residing in the same place
Yet more distant than land masses

How come then its like a knife parting flesh

Suppose to be walking together
Seems like we wandered apart
Or better yet more like walking backwards
Pushing against each other
Should be pulling one another forward
Making this climb together
Yet feels like the weights uneven
At times feel like someones completely absent
Maybe its stress just digging deep
Stirring up bad memories
Fight through the fog
Hope you're waiting there patiently

Reaching for the heavens
Even while feet trapped in the quagmire
Unbeliefs and nay says go unacknowledged
Dreams fight for space in reality
Pushing pass boundaries of limitations
Taming the impossible until it becomes the norm
Fear of looking on chance of missing opportunity
Learning how to fly even with torn broken wings
