Tide rises as twilight falls
Depths widen to swallow light
Beneath the waves hope seems foreign
Chill embrace slowly teases strength away
All seems lost
Even the horizon turns away from doom fate
Yet upon its one last ray shines
Dancing on the razor edge
Kicking off from shifting depths
Flicker of an almost forgotten dream
Rekindling a hunger for life
